WTF! Chelsea fans left stunned after Saunders makes ‘crazy’ Kante transfer claim

Dean Saunders has claimed Manchester United should sign Chelsea star N’Golo Kante to fix their defensive.

United have had their worst start to a new Premier League season in 28 years and their defensive issues led to the sacking of boss Jose Mourinho, who simply could not get the best out of his players at Old Trafford.

United have already shipped 29-goals in the Premier League this season and sit a whopping nineteen points off leaders Liverpool, who tore apart the special ones side last weekend in a dominating 3-1 victory.

And Saunders believes he has the perfect solution for United’s defensive issues, as they should sign humble World Cup winner Kante in the January window.

Kante is regarded as one of the best holding midfielders in world football, but has been played in a more attacking role this season under Maurizio Sarri, which has seen his performances become ‘average’ 90 per cent of the time.

“For me, if they sign one player that would make a big difference to the whole defence,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.

“N’Golo Kante – there might be a chance of getting him out of Chelsea

“It’s looking like it’s a bit rocky for him, Maurizio Sarri has come out and said he can’t play in the holding role.

Could United seriously sign Kante?

Although Kante is not playing in his preferred position at Stamford Bridge and may not in the coming weekends, we have just nailed him down to a new contract and have no intention of letting him leave.

He is still one of the most important players at the club and it would take something special for United to secure this deal, especially in January.
