Marseille president has officially told Chelsea target will be making summer move

Marseille president Pablo Longoria has confirmed that long-term Chelsea target Boubacar Kamara will not sign a new deal at the club.

Roman Abramovic is a man that had to sell the club that he has helped mould into one of the best in world football, amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the west London giants are bound to attract plenty of interest.

There has been a number of possible billionaires that have shown an interest in getting a deal done, but nobody knows who will be coming into the club during the summer transfer window.

But Chelsea have been given the green light to possibly make a move for Kamara after the French outfit announced that he will not be signing a new contract at Marseille and will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

“To lose a player at the end of the contract, especially one of your best and one with one of the best (transfer) values in the squad, is always a failure,” said the Marseille president.

Kamara has also been linked with Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Newcastle over the past few weeks as his performances have ramped up interest.

Look, We do not know who will be buying the club and we do not know who will be signed by the club, But we do know that Kamara is a quality player that could add something to the midfield

Tuchel would love top add a bit more power to that midfield, and with rumours that a few players are open to leaving the club, he could be a solid buy

However, only buying him for the right amount of money would be worth it
