Chelsea given green light to make move to try and sign Bundesliga giant
Chelsea transfer target striker Sasa Kalajdzic is set to leave Stuttgart this summer – the German club have announced
It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel is a boss that wants to add a striker to the squad the coming transfer window and has been linked with some superstar players.
The likes of Harry Kane, Lautaro Martinez and Robert Lewandowski are the three strikers that are seemingly wanted by the club, but the fact they would cost some serious money has meant that Tuchel is also looking at cheaper alternatives, leading to reports that they are keen on Kalajdzic.
The highly-rated frontman, who stands at 6ft 7 has been impressing over the past few seasons and has also caught the attentions of rivals Man United – who are also in the market for a new forward when the transfer window opens up.
Now – Chelsea have been given a real chance to sign the powerhouse after Stuttgart’s chief Sven Mislintat opened up and confirmed that the giants is all set to depart the club at the end of the season.
Hsaid to Bild about the attacker: “As things stand, we have to generate another significant transfer surplus in this summer of transfers.
“So nothing other than the renewed objective of staying in the league is realistic for me. Especially if you take into account the quality of the already determined promoted teams.
“It would be outstanding if we can keep Sasa as a player and guy in our team. However, in my estimation, this is not very likely.”

Kalajdzic is a giant of a striker and if Chelsea wanted to play the long-ball game – he would be perfect
But he does not suit the style of Tuchel and we would be very surprised to see him at Stamford Bridge next season
