Director opens up and has £70 million update for Chelsea ahead of possible Havertz deal
Bayer Leverkusen managing director Fernando Karro has updated fans on Chelsea target Kai Havertz’s situation.
The season is on hold right now, as the coronavirus is taking over the world, but that has not stopped all the speculation in the media about possible signings that Frank Lampard could make at the end of the season.
And according to reports, we are now interested in trying to acquire the services of Havertz, who is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the game and tipped to be one of the very best players around.
Havertz has become one of the most sought after players in the game, as he has scored 20 goals and provided four assists in all competition this season, meaning that this will be his most productive campaign to date.
Now, Leverkusen Director Karro has opened up and admitted that Havertz has shown a desire to make that next step in his career, He told BILD:“For Kai Havertz I see that many clubs are interested in him.
“Kai has been with us for ten years.
“I see the player’s wish to take the next step sometime in the near future.
”You have to respect that just as much as the fact that he has a contract in Leverkusen until 2022.
“You have to try to find a solution where the player’s goal can be reconciled with ours. At the moment nobody can say for sure what will happen,.”
The man will become a world class players, and is someone that could add to our squad.
