Chelsea News: Spaniard makes shock transfer announcement, (Video) Koulibaly, Hazard and Jovic deal feature, Striker told to make PL move
Guys here is a roundup of the top Chelsea stories from icchelseanews.com over the past 24 hours that you may have missed.
Pedro has moved to correct mistranslated interviews that claim the Spaniard is ‘terminating’ his Chelsea contract at the end of the season.
With the reports in the media all suggesting that Frank Lampard will be seeking to add a few wingers to his side in the summer, that means there will no longer be space for the likes of Pedro, who is out of contract when this season FINALLY finishes.
And he seemingly come out and admitted that he will not be signing a new contract at the club and will be looking to leave at the end of the summer, He told Cadena Ser: “I’m terminating my contract, but right now it’s not the most important thing, nor have I stopped to think about it.
“The most important thing is for everyone to show solidarity.
“Whatever happens regarding my future will happen but right now is not important as we don’t even know when we will return to training.
“We have been in quarantine because one of our players [Callum Hudson-Odoi] tested positive for coronavirus, he is now well and we are very happy for him.”
However, he has now claimed that is not the case and he is now seeking to sign a new contract and stay with the club, he told the club’s website: “As many people know, my contract is up in May, but I still haven’t spoken to the club about whether or not it will be renewed and whether I’ll carry on.
“I’ve seen loads of messages from Chelsea fans saying goodbye and thanking me for the time I’ve spent here, which I appreciate, but I’d like to tell all the fans simply that my current contract is coming to an end but I still have to talk to the club.
“I don’t know whether I’ll keep playing here or not. That conversation is still to come. But I have not signed for any other club. I belong to Chelsea. I have a contract.
“My wish is to be able to stay here but obviously we don’t know what will happen. I have to speak to the club and let’s see what happens.”
Guys there has been alot of transfer news in the media that you may have missed, and we are going to bring them to you
We are seemingly in the headlines on a daily basis, despite the fact that the season is over, despite the fact the Coronavirus is causing widespread panic, and despite the fact that the summer transfer window is still a few months away from opening.
[the_ad id=”164″]But that has not stopped speculation about whom could be coming into the club, with the club keen on adding a striker and defender to the squad, and there has been many players linked but the two big names in the video below could be the answer?
The Video also has a message from Eden Hazard about his time at Real Madrid( That fans will Secrectly enjoy) Watch the video below.
Dimitar Berbatov has urged Chelsea target Luka Jovic to make a move to the Premier League.
After a very impressive season in the Bundesliga last year, Jovic became hot property in the game with some of the biggest clubs in the game all linked with possible moves, but in the end it was Real Madrid who secured a transfer deal for his services.
But this season has not been the best in Madrid for Jovic and he has only managed two goals for the Spaniard, leading to rumours he could leave, and that has led to alot of speculation that he could head to the Premier League, with Frank Lampard reportedly interested in a deal, and amid all the transfer speculation, Berbatov has urged Jovic to make the move to England: “Luka Jovic is still a really young footballer and he had a great season with Eintracht Frankfurt which earned him a move to Real Madrid, at the moment things aren’t going his way but let’s not forget that he has Karim Benzema ahead of him,” the Bulgarian told Betfair.
[the_ad id=”164″]“For me, Benzema is one of the most underrated players in football at the moment, he scores so many goals and he often doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
“It’s difficult for Jovic, because he has to get ahead of the Frenchman, but when Zinedine Zidane gives him another chance I hope he takes it, scores goals and shows what he was doing in Germany, if not he has two choices: be patient and work hard, or go to England or somewhere else he can play.
“Like me, he is from the Balkans and we like life a bit too much at times, so I hope that success and his move to Real Madrid hasn’t gone to his head too much, that can be dangerous and he needs to be disciplined.
“I was in his position when I was at Bayer Lerverkusen, I was the same age and ahead of me was Ulf Kirsten, who was a God at Leverkusen and one of the best German strikers ever.
“I was in that position thinking ‘why the f*** am I not playing, I deserve to play, I demand to play’.
“You think lots of stupid things because you’re young and you think you know everything but with a bit of patience, hard work and good people around you to tell you the truth about the situation, it helps. That’s one option.
“The other, if you want to play immediately, you choose to go on loan or find a club that will buy you so that you play more, if Jovic is in that place right now I can see him being useful to a number of clubs in the Premier League.”
