Striker arrival ‘will be quite a sensible signing’ for Chelsea – fans told
TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has opened up and claimed that Chelsea signing Wolves star Raul Jimenez would be a sensible move from the Blues
We all know that Romelu Lukaku has not had the best of seasons back at Chelsea and looks nothing like the striker that bangs in the goals for Belgium – he seriously looks like a man that is ready to leave
That means that Thomas Tuchel will need to delve into that transfer kitty and try to signa couple of strikers that will bring goals to the side – as both Liverpool and Man City will be improving the squad this summer.
Jimenez is a player that all the big clubs have been eyeing up for some time – and if he had not picked up that serious injury just a few seasons ag- would already be polaying at the very highest level of the game
According to a report on GiveMeSport – Wolves are ‘open to offers’ for Jimenez and would be willing to accept bids in the region of £15million for the forward.
And While Crook stated that Jimenez will ‘probably go abroad’ this summer, he refused to rule out the possibility of the forward joining the club. and it would be a very sensible move from the Blues to make
He told GiveMeSport: “He’ll probably go abroad, but if you look at Chelsea, for example, if they’re looking for a centre-forward to come in and compliment what they’ve got, and someone who’s available cheaply and knows the league, then that could be quite a sensible signing for them.
“So, I definitely wouldn’t rule that out.”
