Brilliant Premier League hitman Jimenez tells Lampard how much he will cost Chelsea to sign
Chelsea target Raul Jimenez has personally revealed he will cost at least £34.5million this summer – as doesn’t have a release clause in his Wolves contract.
After recently becoming the club’s top scorer in Premier League history – netting his 23rd league goal to overtake Steven Fletcher’s 22, interest in a Premier League deal has taken another leap forward, with United hot on the list of possible suitors
Jimenez, 28, has 10 goals and six assists in the Premier League this season for Champions League hopefuls Wolves, and we believe that he could be a good buy for the Blues, especially as there has been alot of speculation about a number of players leaving the club.
He is a very good player who has had a great season, and from what we are hearing, there will be a lot of top clubs trying to sign him in the summer, but despite all the interest, he could do a job at Stamford Bridge, But we may be forced to dig deep in their pockets to try and complete a deal.
Speaking of a potential summer transfer, Jimenez revealed that he wont be sold for anything less that the £34.5 million that Wolves paid to acquire his services.
He was quoted on THE SUN: “[Wolves] bought me for €40million (£34.5m), they won’t sell me for less.
“There is no release clause, but with clubs [in England], it is different how they are managed.”
What is £34 million these days, nothing and he has proven on a weekly basis that he is more than capable of scoring goals at the top of the game, and if we are keen on signing him, he would be more than welcome.
