Bug update! Zorc has transfer message for Chelsea over £126 million Sancho contact!
Borussia Dortmund have not been contacted by any clubs to discuss a deal for Chelsea target Jadon Sancho, according to the club’s sporting director Michael Zorc.
Weappealed their transfer ban last month in hope of being able to sign players in the January window, and after a few weeks of waiting FIFA came out and revealed that they had cut-short the transfer ban imposed on the Blues, meaning that they are now free to get some business done.
And that has got many fans excited about the possible signing of Sancho, with reports in the media suggesting that he has become a top transfer target for Frank Lampard.
However, we could not get a deal done for Sancho as Borussia Dortmund did not want to sell their best player half way through the season, and in the end, we failed to do any transfer business over the January window.
But we are expected to resume their interest in the summer and will reportedly pay up to £100million for his signature, especially after seeing the young man become the youngest player in the Bundesliga to score 25-goals.
However, Zorc has come out and admitted that there has not been any contact about a possible move for Sancho in the summer, he told the BILD website: “The fact is no other club has contacted us so far about Jadon.
“I can’t reliably answer today [if Sancho will stay at Dortmund for the long-term]. What I can say for sure is that he feels very comfortable with us. Otherwise he could not produce such performances week after week.”
Sancho is a brilliantly gifted midfielder that does have all the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the game, and for that £100 million valuation on his head, it could be a great investment from the club
