Chelsea interested in signing exciting £50M Spaniard in January

Pablo Barrios, Atlético de Madrid’s young midfielder is now a player that CHELSEA are reportedly interested in signing when the January transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time.

We have one of the biggest squads in word football right now and have a number of players that have not even seen much game time this season, but that has not stopped speculation in the media that the board are looking at their next transfer signing, and are reportedly ready to raid Atletico Madrid.

Barrios has emerged as one of the great promises of Spanish football. At just 21 years old, the academy player has shown quality, vision and a maturity on the pitch that has captured the attention of top-level teams in Europe, including Chelsea according to Fichajes

The report claims that we are willing to make a move with an offer of around 50 million euros to get the services of the Madrid player, although he has shown no real desire to leave the Spanish giants.

If We are prepared to offer crazy money in order to get a transfer deal done, then fair enough, but the lad is not really needed at the club and would struggle to make any sort of impact.

The lad is talented and showing great potential at Madrid, but why would he want to leave at this stage of his career when he is playing every week?
