Chelsea in talks over Dutch deal – Blues closing in on £38M deal – Director flies in for Chelsea talks
Here is the latest Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
The director of AC Milan, Geoffrey Moncada, flew to London to meet with CHELSEA regarding Armando Broja.
Broja was one of the players that the club had big hopes for and a star that they believed could lead the attack and be the next Didier Drogba, but it has not worked out for the man.
He struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and he struggled to make an impact while out on loan last season – and there is now a big feeling that he will be one of the players that will get sold this summer window.
Now reports on Sky Italian have claimed that Moncada has flown to London to hold talks with the club over a deal for Broja, as Negotiation will be key as the money the Italian club can offer might pale in comparison to others.
In his exclusive interview with The Athletic, the hitman said that ‘of course’ he’d like to move on to pastures new if that meant that he’d get back in his groove of scoring goals. That said,
“Nothing has been decided yet, but if I need to go somewhere else to get back in my groove, then of course I would want to do that.”
“As a player, there is no better feeling than being on the pitch and knowing you have a club and a team who defends you; a club who allow you to make mistakes because they know you will become something.”
NAPOLI MAKE LUKAKU OFFER –
Reports say that Napoli have made a first bid for CHELSEA star Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Lukaku has been in strong form since joining Roma and has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season. but is set to return to the club at the end of the season if he cannot agree a move to a new club.
Recent reports have claimed we have made the decision to allow Romelu Lukaku leave the club and he will not play for the Blues again, and now he told the club that a move to Saudi Arabia interests him
However – Italian giants Napoli have been the first club that have made an offer to sign Lukaku this summer, as they seek to sign an immediate replacement for the departing Victor Osimhen.
But their offer is said to be around half of the £38million the club are demanding to let the striker go.
With Antonio Conte now in place in Naples a reunion is one more possible, but we are not interested in letting Lukaku leave on loan again and will want to get close to that £38 million before they conclude business.

It is a shame that Lukaku could bang in the goals for us here – but i am hoping that we get a big amount of money and bring in a top-quality striker in the coming months.
We need a world class signing to make an impact – i am sick of seeing talents linked with a move to the Bridge – hopefully the board sign some real quality.
CHELSEA IN MAATSEN TALKS –
Sky Sports reported Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Chelsea are keen to sell Ian Maatsen this summer window.
Maatsen was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund last season after failing to make the impact under Mauricio Pochettino that he would have liked, and actually had a really good season at the German side.
the Dutchman performed well and helped Dortmund reach the Champions League final – but they were unable to take that crown off Real Madrid and ended up the season without a trophy.
There has been alot of speculation and rumours about the future of Maatsen in recent months – but it seems that the club have made the decision to let him depart the club and hopefully get a ton of money in the process.
Sheth told Givemesport: “One potential signing that they could get big money for is Ian Maatsen. We do know that he went on loan to Borussia Dortmund and had a really successful spell, getting to the Champions League final.
“Before he went there, he signed an extension on his contract at CHELSEA that takes him to 2026 and it’s our understanding the contract includes a release clause of around £35m. We know Dortmund want to keep him and we know Maatsen wants to stay.
“He’s happy at Dortmund, but the club don’t want to pay £35m. It’s simply too high of a figure for them, so they are currently in talks with Chelsea over potentially negotiating that release clause and maybe bringing it down to potentially around £30m.
“It definitely is one to watch and it’s definitely one Chelsea could make a bit of money from.”
