Chelsea make contact and open talks to sign world class Italian superstar Donnarumma

Chelsea have made contact with AC Milan about a summer deal for stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Despite not spending any money during the January window, a few days after the winter window closes, we managed to seal a £37 million deal to bring the highly-impressive and very creative Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech to the club, a move that has been praised by many in the media.

And now, it looks like that he is keen to sign a new stopper as there is a lot of talk that he is not impressed with the performances of Kepa, who has struggled between the sticks this season and has come under intense criticism from the boss for some of his more high-profile performances.

And having long been admirers of Donnarumma, the news that Milan could be willing to flog their highly-rated young goalkeeper will be music to  chiefs’ ears, especially as reports on the TMW website have also suggested we are ready to pay him a massive £7 million-a-season to sign up.

According to prominent Italian reporter Nicolo Schira, the Serie A side are considering moving their goalkeeper on, in order to help balance their books and will accept a fee between the £60 and £70 million mark for one of the players that is tipped to become an Italian great.

The youngster has now already made 190 appearances for Milan, while amassing 16 international caps, with many claiming that he is the next Gianluigi Buffon.

Look, Kepa is a brilliantly gifted young man that will develop into a world class star, there is no doubt about that, so if he is to leave the club at the end of the season, then Donnarumma would be a massively brilliant replacement.
