Chelsea in contact with Italians about deal for World class defender
Chelsea have reportedly established contact with Serie A giants Inter Milan for 27-year-old defender Milan Skriniar.
It was no secret that the club were desperate to add a number of defenders to that back-line over the course of the summer transfer window – and were heavily linked with a move for Skriniar
Skriniar has made himself one of the very best defenders in the Italian game – but Inter did not want to sell – and would only allow him to leave the club if their £85 million valuation was met – and it obviously was not
However – with the January transfer window just a few months away – The London based club is willing to offer €8 million per year in salary to lure the 27 year-old who is out of contract at the end of the season,
Now – According to a report from FCInterNews, we have made contact with the Italian giants about a possible deal for the defender.
However – the report also claimed that despite the fact Skriniar is nearing the end of his contract, he is willing to sign an extension if his demands are met.

He is proven at the very highest level of the game – is Champions League proven – is able to cope with the very best of attackers and is a real leader in that back-line
If we are able to get the player for a bargain – line many people believe – he would be an absolutely fantastic signing.
He really is a man that would improve the back line and make us more solid
