Tuchel interested in Chelsea move

It has been claimed that Barcelona and Chelsea are locked in advanced talks over a transfer deal for Marcos Alonso

The Spanish star is currently enjoying a very good run in the team under Thomas Tuchel thanks to the injury that is keeping Ben Chilwell out of the squad, and looks like a very good defender, at times.

But there has constantly been speculation about players that could be arriving in the coming windows, despite all the drama surrounding the club right now, which will mean that Alonso will fall back down the pecking order at the club.

And that has constantly led to many reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea are very much open to letting him go, especially as his contract at the club expires at the end of next season.

Now – amid all the speculation – transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has opened up and claimed that Barcelona and the club are locked in advanced talks over a deal for Alonso – who is keen to make the move to the Camp Nou

He Tweeted: “Marcos Alonso has not changed his plans. He’s set to leave Chelsea this summer – he wants to return to Spain and Barcelona are in advanced talks on personal terms, but still waiting for price tag. 🔵🇪🇸 #CFC

“Emerson Palmieri won’t stay at OL – he’s now coming back at Chelsea.”

Chelsea fans will surely not appreciate the fact that Alonso is talking about leaving the club and moving over to La Liga, especially with all the rumours that there could be an exodus at the club.

However, if he does depart the club, there are many player out there that can be signed that will do a better job for Tuchel.
