Bye Bye Alvaro! Chelsea in advanced talks to sell Morata with Higuain on route
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata in in advanced talks to sign for Atletico Madrid.
Since his move to Stamford Bridge just a few seasons ago, Morata has struggled to adapt to life in the premier league and has cut a frustrated figure ever since, with constant speculation that he is looking for a way out to a much easier league like Seria A or La Liga.
[the_ad id=”164″]He has only netted 8-goals for the club this season and his lack of finishing has led to speculation boss Maurizio Sarri is now looking to announce a deal for Gonzalo Higuaín, with reports over the past few days suggesting that the Italian has convinced the club that the Argentine is the striker he wants.
And according to reports on the Sky Sports website, we are now in deep talks with Madrid about a deal for Morata, with reports suggesting that a fee of £45 million will be agreed between the clubs, a £35 million loss on what we paid just a few seasons ago.

The Spanish star had all the abilities to be a huge hit here at Stamford Bridge, but he simply couldn’t adjust and his finishing ability is questionable to say the least.
So yes now is the time to pack his bags and leave the club as he is not longer the man to lead us into the new era under Sarri, although Higuaín will only be around for a couple of seasons himself.
Morata should have been a top striker for us, but he is not and although a deal is not yet confirmed, it would be a shock to see him stay this month.
