£200k-a-week demanding star ‘unlikely’ to leave Chelsea – fans told
Football pundit Alan Hutton has claimed that Mason Mount leaving Chelsea is very unlikely
Mount is one of the most gifted young players in that squad and has been a player that every boss can rely on to put in a decent performance for the Blues.
However – this season he has not quite looked himself and has been struggling to find the form that made him such a special player over the past few years – and he has been heavily criticised for that.
His contract at the club is also an issue as there is alot of talk that he cannot agree a new contract and could leave the club – with Liverpool a club that is reportedly interested in a potential deal.
However – despite his poor form and all the speculation regarding his future – Hutton has opened up and suggested that it is very unlikely that the player leaves Stamford Bridge – especially for a move to Liverpool
“It really depends on how his career develops at Chelsea,” he told Football Insider.
“I would say he is a main player for them at this moment in time. You do not really see players going to rivals in those top teams. Of course, it happens sometimes but not very often.
“He is young, he is talented, they probably won’t want to lose him unless his form dips. I think it would be a difficult one to do. But the likes of Rice and Bellingham are going to be ultra-hard to sign for any team.“
