New Chelsea ace Ziyech opens up and announces he is taking inspiration from former hero Hazard
Chelsea new boy Hakim Ziyech admits he takes inspiration from club legend Eden Hazard and feels at home at Stamford Bridge.
Ziyech was signed by Frank Lampard in the summer transfer in order to give this side a bit more attacking flair on the width, and so far in his short time at the club, Ziyech has made a real impression on the club and fans.
He has become an integral part of Frank Lampards side, and has opened up and admitted that he takes inspiration from club legend Eden Hazard, who was easily the most important player at the club during his time at the Bridge.
He told Chelsea’s website: “So far, I’m happy. I feel good and at home. Those things are the most important for how you perform on the pitch.
“Eden is a world-class player and you always take inspiration from that.
“You look at the small things – how he’s playing the game, how he’s doing stuff and I know I can still learn a lot from him.”
Ziyech is certainly a player that gives us more of a threat from the right, and if he can continue the good performances that he has started with this season, then it will be seen as a very good buy from the club
It is just a shame that we never managed to see both Ziyech and Hazard play in the same team, that would have been an exciting time for the club.
