£200 million Hazard announces ‘for now i am happy’ at Chelsea
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted he is more than content at Stamford Bridge, amid claims he wants a move to Real Madrid.
Hazard has been in sparkling form for us this season and already has eight goals to his name in just 13 appearances for the club, which is not bad considering he only managed seventeen in the whole of last season.
But his step up in goals ratio has led to more speculation that Real Madrid will definitely come calling at the end of the season and offer him a way out of the club, with the Spanish giants reportedly ready to splash close to £200 million to acquire his services.
Belgian team-mate Steven Defour has even admitted that Hazard ‘has a dream’ to play for Madrid, only a few weeks after Hazard himself admitted that it may be his only opportunity of winning the Champions League and Ballon D’or crowns.
But amid all the speculation, Hazard has come out and admitted he’s happy at the club and over the moon with his rich vein of form under his new manager.
“For the last seven years with Chelsea, I have always enjoyed myself,” he told talkSPORT.
“When I am on the pitch I try to give happiness, first to me and then to the fans who are watching the game.
“At the moment, we are doing well and that’s why I am doing well. So I am happy to play at the moment.”[the_ad id=”238″]
What can keep Hazard at Stamford Bridge?
It is clear money is not the issue for Hazard as the Belgian is one of the highest paid at the club, and it is not because he is unhappy in London, as he loves it here. But the lonely way we can keep him at the club is by winning that Champions League, buying a few superstars and then helping him bang in those 30-40 goals a season he needs to be the best.
If we cannot do that, then he will surely leave the club, which will not be a good day.
