German star kai Havertz speaks out amid summer Chelsea transfer rumours
Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz has remained tight-lipped about his future amid interest from Chelsea.
Lamps is no fool and knows that he needs to get the backing from the board, delve into that transfer kitty that he is expecting to get in the summer window, and land a few players that can make a real difference to the side.
That has led to the speculation in the media that Havertz, who is valued at around the £89 million mark, is now top of the shopping list of boss Frank Lampard, who is reportedly a huge fan of the midfielder.
Regarded as one of the finest talents in the game, Havertz has bagged over 20 goals this season, and is easily regarded as one of the finest talents to come out of the Bundesliga for many a season.
And After scoring twice for Bayer Leverkusen this week, he was quizzed about his future remained tigh-lipped about a possible summer move to Stamford Bridge
He told Sky: “I do not like to say, of course, that there is a lot of speculation.
“I’m concentrating on this season and will see what happens afterwards.”
Look, Havertz is a brilliantly gifted young man that is making all the right noised in Europe right now and if he goes onto become anything like Michael Ballack, then he will be a true great for Germany.
I would love to see him arrive at Chelsea, but despite all the speculation, there has been no serious indications that we are actually going to make a move for him during the summer window, just pure speculation.
But as we said, i would love to see this guy in Blues shirt, it would suit him very nicely!
