Forget it United and Liverpool as £87 million man on way to Chelsea to replace Hazard, Blues fans told!
Dimitar Berbatov has tipped Manchester United and Liverpool target Kai Havertz to become Eden Hazard’s long-term replacement at Chelsea.
Frank Lampard may have one of the most exciting and creative sides in the Premier League right now, but he will need to spend some money in the next couple of windows to improve the side in certain areas, especially with the likes of Willian and Pedro seemingly on their way out.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been keen to make sure that they are the only two sides to challenge for the services of Havertz, But Berbatov has opened up and suggested that Havertz could become the long-term replacement for Eden Hazard at Chelsea, The former Spurs and Man Utd striker told Betfair: “I think it is interesting to see Chelsea linked with him, they haven’t really replaced Hazard since he left and it was always going to be difficult to do so.
“I think for sure they need to go for a young player with a lot of football ahead of them, if that is the case then they will also have to be patient as well because sometimes young players need time to adjust to the physicality and speed of Premier League.
“Havertz is an option for them but it has only been the first week back of the Bundesliga and I hope that he continues to way he has comeback, by scoring and producing the goals that he has done so far.”
Wow this is a massive claim and one that many Chelsea fans will love. WHY??? Because alot of the fans are massive admirers of Havertz and would love to see him make the move to Stamford Bridge.
Yes we would love this, we love Havertz and believe that he will go on to become one of the best players in the game! Great shout Berbatov…
