Chelsea have stepped up chase to sign in-demand Powerhouse

CHELSEA have reportedly asked about what kind of wages Fulham star Tosin Adarabioyo would like ahead of a possible summer move
After the announcement was made by Thiago Silva just last week that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season, there has been endless speculation about defenders that the club could sign to replace the Brazilian star.
Some big names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the past few weeks – but it now seems that the board are eyeing a move for the impressing Adarabioyo, who is also wanted by Premier League rivals Newcastle.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the club have also been in contact over a deal for the defender and has also revealed that they have enquired about the kind of wages that the big defender would like.
According to Fabrizio Romano, On The Here We Go Podcast, the Italian journalist said: “Tosin Adarabioyo, who’s going to leave Fulham, there are conversations with Newcastle, also Chelsea are informed of the situation of Tosin.
“So both clubs made contact to be informed on the wages, so the salary and all this kind of stuff for Tosin Adarabioyo, who’s going to leave Fulham at the end of the season. So keep an eye on these two clubs, Newcastle, because Eddie Howe really appreciates the player, and also CHELSEA.”
The 26-year-old centre-back is a key player for the Cottagers but they have been unable to convince him to extend his contract, which expires in June
