Darren Bent has urged Chelsea to make a stunning move to try and sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer

The 28-year-old joined the Red Devils from Juventus in 2016 for roughly £95million, switching back to the club he left for the Bianconeri as an academy player.

However, there has been many people in the media claiming that he is not happy at Old Trafford, that he cannot showcase his true ability as he is not 100 per cent committed to the club

That has led to many rumours in the media over the past few years that he wants to leave the club and head back to Real Madrid, or test himself at PSG or Madrid, but he has stayed put, despite all those rumours

However, The playmaker is yet to secure his future at Old Trafford, with contract discussions held but a decision is set to be made at the end of the season.

But Amid the uncertainty of the Frenchman’s future, talkSPORT pundit and former Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes that we should sign the midfielder.

Bent said: “When [Paul] Pogba plays alongside [N’Golo] Kante he looks like a completely different player. If they [Chelsea] were to sign him… Wow!”

N’Golo Kante and Pogba have played alongside one another on many occasions for the France national team over the years, building an understanding and chemistry between each other in the midfield.

Whether the club are urged on by Darren Bent’s comments will be seen, but Pogba will have many options to choose from in the summer as he is one of the very best midfielders in world football

We would be shocked to see him make that move to Stamford Bridge as La Liga, Serie A or Ligue 1 are all challenges that he would relish
