Chelsea have been offered chance to sign powerhouse for just £30M

Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, according to reports.

Antonio Rudiger is the man that Chelsea will need to replace when he departs the club at the end of the season after he failed to agree a new contract at the Bridge – despite months of talks

And Koulibaly is a name that many fans are familiar with, as the club have been linked with a move for the powerhouse for the last few seasons and are still interested in getting a deal done

He is regarded as one of the top five defenders in the game right now and a player that is perfectly equipped to make a real impact in the Premier League

And Italian outlet AreaNapoli.it claims the player’s agent, Fali Ramadani, is making one last attempt to get his client a move away. Koulibaly’s current contract expires in 2023 so this summer is the last chance for Napoli to get a substantial fee for him.

And the report goes on to say that we have been offered the chance to sign Koulibaly for just less than £30 million

The report adds that Napoli have still not given up hope of retaining the star and will try and persuade the defender to stay and commit his future to the club.

Look, Rudiger is leaving the club – that is a fact – so going out, spending £60 million and bringing Koulibaly to the club would be a very smart decision from the club
