£35 million Seria A star addresses rumours and sends Chelsea clear transfer message
Chelsea target Achraf Hakimi has shut down speculation regarding his future by insisting he is happy at Inter Milan.
There have been some reports in the media suggesting that we are planning for potential new signings in this coming transfer window, as they seek to improve the side.
It will mean that Thomas Tuchel will be able to delve into the clubs transfer kitty and add a few players to the squad that will add some experience, and quality in the right areas of the pitch, as the defence is not the best at Stamford Bridge
That has led to alot of speculation in the media linking the club with a whole host of possible summer signings, with some of the biggest names on that shopping list of Tuchel, but now it seems that he has turned his attentions to Hakimi.
But Hakimi has declared he wants to remain at the San Siro, as he told La Repubblica: “The team that attracted me the most was Inter and I saw it as a growth project.
“I am honoured to be one of the testimonials for the new club logo. I like it, as it looks to the future, a future we can build together.
“I hope to stay at this club for a long time and I’m very happy.”
We do have a very good defence but that will need to be added too in the coming transfer window, so the news that Hakimi will come as a massive blow to our transfer plans, but we have other targets they can still pursue.
