Haaland has become one of the most talked about players in world football right now and is being linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
It has been claimed on many occasions over the past few seasons that he will leave Dortmund at the end of the season and join one of the big clubs mentioned, if they are prepared to meet his £120 million asking price.
However, that price has gone up after the striker had another amazing season and According to AS, the German giants have slapped a £172million (€200m) price tag on their talismanic forward.
But the reports suggest Should Haaland stay for the upcoming season, a release clause a little under £70m will activate next summer.
amid all the speculation, Haaland has vowed to respect Borussia Dortmund’s wishes when it comes to any decision on his future, and he says he sees no reason to break that agreement after helping his current club secure Champions League qualification.
Haaland has told Viaplay on the speculation surrounding his future: “Borussia Dortmund say I’m 100 per cent staying this summer?
“I have a contract for a couple of years, so I am respectful towards my contract.
“A Champions League spot secured was so important to me, I want to play Champions League football. And I’ve big dreams.
“I just won my first major trophy and it was a great feeling. So I want to win more trophies.”
