Barcelona are ready to sell French star Antoine Griezmann to raise funds as the club suffers amid the coronavirus pandemic, alerting the likes of Chelsea

Griezmann was one of the most om-demand players of the transfer window last summer, with a whole host of clubs linked with a possible move for the Frenchman, but in the end, it was Barcelona who completed a massive £108 million move to complete the deal.

The Frenchman has been hit and miss for the Spaniards this season as he copes with life at the Camp Nou, but now Spanish outlet AS suggest the club are looking to save money as they come under strain during these unprecedented times.

And the reports suggest Big money signing Griezmann could be put up for sale to raise capital after failing to impress Barcelona bosses since arriving from the Spanish capital in July, and managing resources is key for the club and they may look to ship former Real Sociedad star Griezmann out on loan to get him off the wage bill.

However, it is believed that Nou Camp bosses would prefer, if possible, to recoup as much of the £108m they paid for Griezmann as they can, alerting us

It is no secret that we are massive fans of Griezmann and tried to complete a deal for the Barcelona star last summer, but missed out because of that transfer ban. But now there is talk that Frank Lampard will get the money he needs to get big-time players signed, meaning fans could see the arrival of Griezmann.

Lampard knows he needs to add someone like Griezmann to the attack, and for £108 million, it is the type of player that could be as game-changer for the side.
