Owner tells Chairman ‘he must sell striker’ – Chelsea now have chance to sign ace

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly been told he must sell CHELSEA target Harry Kane this summer if he can’t convince him to sign a new deal.

The club have managed to sign Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku this summer in order to improve that front-line – but there is still talk that a world class striker is wanted at the club.

And that has led to many reports in the media that Pochettino has asked the board to try and sign Harry Kane – a player that he worked with at Tottenham and a man that is heavily tipped to leave the Spurs in order to win trophies.

A move across London would be like Sol Campbell joining Arsenal – but Pochettino has now represented both clubs from the dugout and he sounded keen to work with Kane again.

However – it seemed that Kane was heading to Bayern Munich this summer after the German outfit made an offer of £70 million for the Spurs striker – a fee that was rejected by Levy.

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham owner Joe Lewis has told Levy that he doesn’t want lose Kane on a free next summer.

The England captain’s contract is due to expire next July and the Spurs owner does not want to lose one of the best strikers in the game for absolutely nothing at the end of the season.

Spurs have already rejected a bid of around £70million from the Bavarians, who do not want to go much higher than that.
