No chance Icardi will join Juventus as Sarri closes in on £90 million Chelsea transfer deal
Inter president Steven Zhang inists there is “no chance” Chelsea target Mauro Icardi will be joining Juventus.
The striker has recently been stripped of the captaincy at Inter and has been left out of subsequent squads, with reports he has refused to play for the Italian club again this season as he seeks a big money move away.
[the_ad id=”164″]And we have been linked with a £90 million summer move as Gonzalo Higuaín has failed to adapt to the pace and quality of the Premier League, only managing to net two goals in his opening few weeks here at Stamford Bridge.
And we have been given a huge boost after Inter president Zhang said he won’t be joining their Italian rivals, as reported by AS.
“In football, you can never say never to business with Juventus. However, in this specific case there’s no chance that Icardi will go to Juventus.
“We talked a lost last week, we want to say enough about this story.
“We’re negotiating a renewal with Inter, but our philosophy is that the group is always greater than the individual.
“Our market campaign net summer will be better than the last one.”

Icardi is one of the best players in world football right now and has scored 20-plus goals a season in his last four years with Milan, so it is a surprise to see him have such an issue with the coaching staff.
However, if we managed to complete a transfer deal in the summer it would give us that extra push we need to challenge for the Premier League title and Champions League crown, so hopefully we can get a deal done as he would be a better long-term signing than Higuaín currently is.
