Chelsea favourites to wrap up deal for Spanish International
It has been reported that CHELSEA are the favourites to sign Gavi from Barcelona in the January window or at the end of the season.
The club have really splashed the cash over the past couple of transfer windows and there is no doubt that they have brought some quality to the side, but they have also brought alot of players into the club that are simply not ready.
That has led to many reports in the media that Mauricio Pochettino will be given some more transfer funds in order to sign the players that he believes can add something to the side, and Gavi is on the shopping list.
According to Sport via Sport Witness, we are the favourites to land the teenage sensation and will need to fork out around €100 million to secure his services. Whether it will prove to be too good to refuse for Barcelona remains to be seen.
The Spanish giants are in a financial mess and although they do not want to sell their prized asset, they know that the money generated from his sale will go along way into getting them back to being one of the best in the game.

If the club manage to sign Gavi in the next couple of transfer windows, it will be a game-changer for the club, he really is a special talent that will surely become one of the best in the game.
But even though Barcelona may be open to selling the Spaniard, he simply has no desire to leave the club and come to the Premier League, so the club would be getting a player that does not 100 per cent want to be there.
