Chelsea have been told possible signing ‘will be success’ in England

The likes of Chelsea have been told that Cody Gakpo is almost certain to leave PSV and he would be a massive success in the Premier League if he came to England.

It is no secret in the media Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner could be heading out of Chelsea in the transfer after failing to impress like many had hoped and scored the goals that Thomas Tuchel needed.

And that has led to many reports in the media that Chelsea are very much interested in a deal for Gakpo, who is fast becoming one of the most sought after young players in Europe right now

The winger, who mainly operates on the left, has hit 16 goals in all competitions for the Eindhoven club this season, and has also provided 15 assists and his performances is attracting all sorts of interest

Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the Dutch star – who has recently broken into the national team – but Gakpo doesn’t want the risk of being sat on the bench of a foreign club ahead of November’s World Cup

Now PSV legend Willy van de Kerkhofhas shared how much he thinks the player is worth, He told Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur: “Gakpo has hit the ceiling at PSV, but he has also not been injured with the Netherlands squad.

“As I said, top players should play as much football as possible because then they can show their qualities.

“I think Gakpo can certainly succeed in England, but I also find Bayern a good club for him. [His worth] that’s very simple, €50m.

“He is definitely worth it.”

Look, if Chelsea do decide to make a move and make a serious offer to the Dutch giants, it would be very hard for Gakpo to turn down such a move to a club that is one of the biggest in Europe.
