Manchester United captain and CHELSEA target Bruno Fernandes has handed an ultimatum to the club, prove that they want him or the Portuguese playmaker will leave.

Fernandes is one of the most important players in that Man United side and a player that the club are not interested in selling over the next couple of transfer windows.

But despite the fact Man United could still win that FA Cup – there is still alot of talk that Fernandes could follow a number of stars out the door of Old Trafford as they are not where top players want to be.

And according to the Daily Express – Man United and Fernandes have held talks about his future at the club – with many believing that he will stay if the club show ambition in the summer transfer window.

Speculation has been rife over the midfielder’s future as he wants to compete at the highest level, before Fernandes made his stance clear after Wednesday’s win over Newcastle.

“The club needs to want me,” Fernandes said. “I feel the club wants me to be a part of the future.

“As I said always, I don’t want to be a player that the club doesn’t want to have. If for some reason they don’t want to have me, I will go. But if they want me, I will stay.‌”
