Chelsea fans to see gifted midfielder make January transfer move

CHELSEA could be braced for several exits in the January transfer window as the club seek to trim down a squad that is still quite bloated in number after several big-spending transfer windows over recent years.

Since that board arrived at Stamford Bridge the club have spent some crazy money on players that they believe will be at the for the next 5-7 years, and now have one of the biggest squads in the Premier League.

But they also have a number of players that are not really needed at the club anymore, and One player who may well be departing Stamford Bridge next month is Harvey Vale, the versatile midfielder who has been with the club since Under-13 level and was previously academy player of the year.

The 21-year-old is out of contract at the club in the summer and almost joined Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia in the summer, only for that deal to fall through at the 11th hour.

According to Fabrizio Romano, he could leave the club in January as he enters the last six months of his current deal, with Sunderland joining Belgian giants Anderlecht and Dutch side Heerenveen in the race for his signature.

The lad is talented, there is no doubt about that so we are sad to see that he will have to leave the club in order to make a name for himself in the game, but we also totally understand why he probably feels that he will need to go.
