Here is the Daily roundup of the latest Chelsea news, Gossip and transfer news.
Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea are looking to spend big in the January transfer window and acquire Napoli star Elsaid Hysaj.
Chelsea were in need of adding a brand new defender to the back-line in the summer and were heavily linked with a move for Hysaj well before they managed to secure a deal for Maurizio Sarri, who was let go by the Italians and replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.
And amid the threat of a two-year transfer ban for an alleged breach of Financial Fair Play regulations over their transfer dealings of under-age players, the Daily Express have claimed we are now seeking to sign Hysaj in the January window.
Hysaj actually wanted to join Chelsea to link up with his boss too, but Mario Giuffredi explained it was impossible after Napoli agreed to allow Sarri and Jorginho to join Chelsea.
‘Those who criticise him probably never make mistakes, but the rest of us are mere mortals,’ Giuffredi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
‘Without that clause he probably would have gone to Chelsea this summer.
‘People forget that he was one of the best two or three full-backs in Europe last season. Then it just takes two or three matches for him to become a donkey.
‘I always say to let everyone talk and then respond on the pitch.’ (Read more here)
Olivier Giroud has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Chelsea during the January transfer window.
Giroud has only managed to score one goal this season as he struggles to be the regular starter that the Italian needs to win the Premier League this season.
And that has led to speculation that he could be sold in the coming transfer window and replaced by the exciting Genoa star Krzysztof Piatek, who already has nine goals in 11 Serie A games this season.
But the France World Cup winner, who only has one goal this season, says he is only focused on securing more game at Stamford Bridge and will fight for his career here at the club.
He told TeleFoot: “Would I have to consider a departure to keep my place in the national team? I feel like it is as if we are where we were several months ago when I was being asked the same questions before the World Cup.
“Today I am calm, happy with this World Cup title. I don’t need to put myself under more pressure than that.
“Of course, I am a competitor and I would like more playing time. But I am in a very big club, with very big players.
“I am going to fight and for the moment, it is not a question about seeking a departure. I am going to stick in there and do not expect me to give up.” (Read more here)
Barcelona will demand a fee of around £88.7 million for the services of unhappy winger and Chelsea target Ousmane Dembele.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club for £97m from Borussia Dortmund last summer, has been in the transfer headlines all season after reports in the media suggested that he was set to be sold by the Spaniards in the coming transfer windows.
It is believed that Barcelona are looking to acquire the services of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe and know they must make space in the squad, and raise some funds as both men could cost in excess of £200 million.
And with Maurizio Sarri eyeing up possible long-term replacements for the departing Eden Hazard, who is expected to leave and sign for Real Madrid at the end of the season, reports have suggested they are looking to complete a bargain deal for the Frenchman in the January transfer window for a fee of around £60 million.
Now, according to Sport, Barcelona have told Dembele to improve his attitude at the club or he will be sold in the next couple of transfer windows, with the Spaniards reportedly willing to sell for £88.7 million.
