Chelsea decide to get striker deal done – Blues offered WORDLIE – midfielder says right decision to join Chelsea

Moises Caicedo has opened up and claimed that joining Chelsea over Liverpool was the right decision to make.

After establishing himself as one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League with Brighton – There was alot of speculation about where the midfielder would move too after making the decision to leave the Seagulls.

Liverpool too were in the race to sign the midfielder, however, he eventually chose to join the west London outfit over the Merseyside club and Chelsea completed that massive £115 million deal.

Now – the midfielder has opened up and claimed that joining CHELSEA over Liverpool was the right transfer decision to make – Speaking to reporters, the young midfielder said: “It was a difficult decision because you know Liverpool is a big team.

‘But Chelsea were with me for a couple of months and I felt like I couldn’t miss this move. They were with me in tough times when Brighton didn’t want to let me go. It was a difficult decision, but 100% the right one.”

When asked about his targets for the upcoming season under a new coach, Caicedo added to Chelsea’s official website: “He plays like the same system that I played in Brighton. He wants the same.

‘He wants me to show my quality, to have a good personality, and to show to my teammates that I am the boss on the pitch. For sure, I will be a good player with him.”

CHELSEA OFFERED DE JONG – 

Barcelona have offered midfielder Frenkie De Jong to the likes of CHELSEA in order to get rid.

There was also speculation in the media that a number of world class Barcelona stars were also players that we were interested in signing, but were unable to get any deals done as they wanted to stay at the Camp Nou.

However – The Catalan club continue to find themselves in a financial mess as they are still operating above the La Liga-imposed annual spending limit.

And according to a recent report on Sport, the club is ready to sacrifice an important piece of the jigsaw. The decision will be taken by sporting director Deco, who will look to sell among players who have had the least minutes.

Reports El Nacional in Spain state that Barcelona are desperate to sell Frenkie de Jong and have thus offered him to multiple clubs including CHELSEA and Manchester United as they seek to get £40 million for the midfielder.

The club have been signing some players over the last few windows and adding players to the side that have been making a real difference to the side. If there is a chance to sign De Jong – they should take it.

He is world class, he has plenty of time left in the game and for £40 million he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.

I would love to see the midfielder get signed.

CHELSEA TO SELL FOFANA – 

David Datro Fofana is reportedly all set to pack his bags and leave Chelsea this summer transfer window as the Blues are keen to cash in on the forward.

The club have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks – there has been alot of players linked with a move to the club as Enzo Maresca wants to make his first season at the club a special one.

However, all these players coming in make it impossible for all the players at the club to even get a look in the side next season, and the board have decided to get rid of a number of players over the next few months.

Now Reporter Iomie Stanley has said he believes the striker is one of those who will be sold to make way for others to come in.

He said: “I’ve been told a lot of players will go – Datro Fofana will go, whether on loan or permanent. I think they would accept loan bids for Fofana in order to get him out of the club.

‘The CHELSEA board have made a number of transfer errors over the last few seasons – but they have now decided that Fofana is a player that they will look to get some money for before his value drops even more.

‘And to be honest – for the sake of his career – he needs to leave.
