Powerhouse ‘will be a massive signing’ for Chelsea – fans told

Chelsea have been told it would be a ‘massive signing’ if they managed to bring Matthijs De Ligt to the Premier League this transfer window

Despite the fact that we have some world class defenders in the back-line – the club had had a very hard time of it keeping clean-sheets over the last few weeks of the season and Thomas Tuchel wants to sign some fresh faces

Add that to the fact that a number of players are already gone – with a few more expected to leave the club should the right offer come in – and Tuchel will need to sign some top-class players over the next few months

And that has again led to many reports in the media which has suggested that Chelsea are lining up a move for De Ligt after learning that he is having trouble agreeing a new contract with Juventus

Now – amid all that Speculation – journalist Pete O’Rourke has come out and told fans that he would be a massive signing for the club should the Blues board manage to get him to leave Juventus

He told GIVEMESPORT: “It’d be a massive signing for Chelsea.

“We all know the problems that they’ve got in their centre-back area for next season with Rudiger and Christensen leaving, so to get someone like De Ligt would be a big bonus for Chelsea.”
