Chelsea could make ‘One of Best Signings’

CHELSEA FC could pull off ‘one of the best signings’ of the summer if they win the race for Joao Palhinha, according to reporter Iomie Stanley

Despite the fact that we are still in the midst of a tough season for the club – and despite the fact the January window has not long finished – there is already alot of talk that there will be alot of changes in the summer.

Paulinha is a man that was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the January window – but Fulham decided to keep hold of their star man and wait until the summer to let him depart.

Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan has revealed that offers for Palhinha will be considered in the summer, according to talkSPORT, and it has led to the Cottagers slapping a £60million price tag on their prized asset.

The report suggests that we would have no issues meeting the west Londoners’ demands for the Portugal international, who was on the brink of joining Bayern Munich last summer.

But according to reporter Iomie Stanley – we could be getting one of the best signings of the summer – he said: ‘Paulinha is a man that wants to play at the very highest level of the game.

‘He has constantly proven that he is able to compete with the very best in the Premier League and would have no issue competing in that Blues side.

‘His work rate, his ability, his leadership and his quality on the ball means that he would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea, and one that could be one of the best of the summer.’
