Chelsea could wrap up early summer signing this week of 16-goal star for Free!

It has been revealed that CHELSEA could complete the FREE signing of Jonathan David this week now that the transfer window has been opened early for clubs to make some early signings before the club world cup.

The Canadian forward has emerged as a potential transfer target for The Blues over the past few months, as we will be desperate to add a new striker to that attack in the next couple of transfer windows

Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen are two other players that the club are reportedly interested in – but David would represent a cheaper alternative to the other two as his contract is comin to an abrupt end and the Blues could land him for a bargain in the coming days.

Now reports on the Sun website have claimed we are now free to hold talks with the player and tempt him to the Premier League with an offer that would trump the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham, who are also interested in a deal for the striker.

CHELSEA will need to make sure that they sign players that can make an immediate impact – big named players that will send a message to the rest of the Premier League – David is very good.

It will be very interesting to see just who the board try and sign in the summer window – but we do believe that David is not the answer to the clubs problems as we have Nicolas Jackson, who is the same type of player
