Chelsea ‘convinced’ La Liga star is heading to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are reportedly convinced they will sign Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde this summer transfer window

Now that Antonio Rudiger is leaving the club to sign with Spanish giants Real Madrid – it will mean that Thomas Tuchel will need to sign an immediate replacement for the German star

Kounde is a man that has been on the radar of Chelsea for some time now as The Blues missed out on the Frenchman’s signature last year after the LaLiga outfit raised their asking price at the last minute.

But the club have retained their interest in the player as Thomas Tuchel looks to finally secure his services – And according to Spanish outlet ABC Sevilla, we are hopeful we can reach an agreement between £43million-£51m

It is already believed that personal terms has been agreed with the player and the club are just trying to negotiate that fee between the two clubs – as Sevilla are playing hard-ball

There has been so much speculation and rumours regarding the future of Kounde – but he is definitely a player that the club are really keen on and a player that all the big clubs have been watching

He is a few years away from being the finished article – but he would be learning from Thiago Silva – and there is no better player to be learning from

So even though Rudiger will be missed by the club – fans knows the next signing at the club will fill that space that is no left with the German – and Kounde would be a great signing
