Wow! Chelsea make contact with Barcelona over possible £100 million Coutinho deal

Chelsea have contacted Barcelona about a possible deal for Brazilian Philippe Coutinho.

Barcelona signed the Brazil international from Liverpool in a £142 million deal last January, and he seemingly adjusted to life at the Nou Camp with relative ease, becoming one of the most creative players at the club.

But this season has been a different story for the talented winger, and he has struggled to make an impact on the Barcelona side, with only ten starts in La Liga games for the Brazilian.

And with constant reports that Eden Hazard will pack his bags at the end of the season to make a big money move to try and sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid, reports over the last few days have linked us with a move for Coutinho.

And according to reports on the Daily Express website, we  have already approached the midfielder’s club about a possible £100 million deal, as Maurizio Sarri looks to add a bit more creativity to the side.

However, it is believed that Barcelona have no interest in selling Coutinho during the winter window, and despite being unhappy with his game time, Coutinho is seemingly not keen to leave.

Could we really prise Coutinho away from Barcelona?

It is strange to see Coutinho struggling for game time at the Camp Nou this season considering he is a world class midfielder that can change the game in the blink of an eye, but he will not be leaving anytime soon.

He has shown no desire to leave the club and Barcelona have no intention of selling right now, so although I would love to see the guy arrive, this is a deal that may not happen anytime soon.

We should focus on more realistic transfer deals.
