Chelsea confirms Forward deal – Blues encouraged sign £87M star – Giants expect Chelsea to make Prem offer
Here is the latest Chelsea news and gossip from icchelseanews that we think you guys may have missed –
Chelsea have again been encouraged to make a move and bring Victor Osimhen to Stamford Bridge as the Napoli striker would score goals for the club on a weekly basis, that is according to reporter Iomie Stanley
He has already put in a transfer request in order to force a move out of the club and Napoli are willing to allow the star to leave if the right amount of money is paid – with reports suggesting that £87 million will get the Nigerian star all signed up.
Now – amid all the speculation and rumours – Stanley has opened up and again told the club to sign the big man: “£161 million on players that are not ready to make any sort of impact on the club this season, that is what that Chelsea board have been signing.
“They need to sign on world-class striker, If they can sign Osimhen, then I would feel a lot more confident about the club’s chances of qualifying for the top four because he is a world-class player. CHELSEA need to change that transfer policy.
‘The game against Man City at the weekend showed that this side arent ready to compete for titles – they are not good enough – and the bench had a bunch of unknowns sitting on it.
‘They should do everything that they can to a striker… Osimhen seems to be the clubs number one target – but they need to make some real quality signings.’
SANCHO MOVE TO BE MADE?
Manchester United officials are expecting Chelsea to make a move for Jadon Sancho before the close of the transfer window – as the winger looks set to leave the club in the coming days.
Old club Borussia Dortmund, where the 24-year-old shone back on loan, have reportedly been priced out of the race as he could cost £50million-plus but according to recent reports on fussball.news, the club are prepared to offer a transfer fee plus two of their academy players.
Another proposal would see the club offering to take Sancho on loan, paying his entire salary which is thought to be near £300,000-a-week. That deal would also include an obligation to buy at the end of the season
According to The Athletic, some figures at Man Utd expect CHELSEA to show an interest in Sancho, which could perhaps make sense as there’ll surely be a number of other top clubs who’ll feel the 24-year-old deserves another chance at the highest level.
Sancho doesn’t necessarily make sense as a priority for the club , however, given that they already have so many players in that position, with Pedro Neto recently joining, while Joao Felix is also on his way, as per Fabrizio Romano and others.

We do not really need another winger and that is probably the reason they made the decision not to make a move for Sancho
CLAYPLE DEAL DONE –
Chelsea have now confirmed forward Aimee Claypole has joined Swedish side Linkoping on a short-term loan until December.
CHELSEA posted on the club website: ‘The 18-year-old will join up with Linkoping until late this year, with the Damallsvenskan having been in season since April.
‘She joins the Swedish outfit, who currently sit seventh in the league after 15 games played, after spending the second half of last season on loan in the Women’s Championship with Lewes, where she featured 11 times, scoring twice and providing three assists.
‘Before spending time away on loan, Claypole made her debut for the Blues in January of the 2021/2022 season as a second-half substitute in an FA Cup tie against Aston Villa.
‘A first outing in the Women’s Super League came in March 2023 when Claypole came off the bench in a win over Brighton & Hove Albion, before a third senior appearance followed against Reading, also as a substitute, in the FA Cup later that month.
‘Claypole has been with the club since the age of nine and signed her first professional contract with CHELSEA after turning 18 in November 2023.
‘During her time in our Academy programme, Claypole enjoyed much success, winning the FA WSL Academy Cup and the FA Youth Cup, and was top scorer in the Women’s Super League Academy for the 2022/23 campaign.
‘On the international stage, the young forward represented Finland at U15s level and England’s U17s, U18s and U19s.
‘Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Aimee every success during her time in Sweden, and we look forward to seeing her continued development.’
