Chelsea coach Zola announces he wants £36 million Hudson-Odoi to stay at Stamford Bridge
Gianfranco Zola has admitted that he hopes Bayern Munich target Callum Hudson-Odoi will stay with the club.
Hudson-Odoi is one of the most exciting talents currently at the club and keeping hold of him has become a priority for boss Maurizio Sarri, who sees him as a long-term replacement for Real Madrid bound Eden Hazard.
[the_ad id=”164″]And after Hudson-Odoi scored as the FA Cup holders advanced with a 3-0 fourth-round win over Sheffield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge, Zola hopes that wont he his last goal for the club, telling the Sky Sports website: “We want him to stay as well, we were singing too.

“He has a contract. We believe in what he can do for this team. I don’t think there are many 18-year-old players around Europe that are are playing as much as him in a big team.
“If you look at Juventus, all the big teams, they don’t have many 18-year-old players playing like we do. That shows that we believe in him, we think he can be an important player for us, so we will see what happens.
“We can do as much as we can do. From our point of view he has a lot of strong players next to him. But we still find the space for him to play.
“Did he look like he didn’t want to play? Yesterday in training he scored a fantastic goal.”

It would be a foolish decision for Hudson-Odoi to leave the club now and make that move to Bayern, as moving far too early could ruin his promising career.
So he needs to stay put, sign that £85,000-a-week deal and become a real star for us, as he has all the ability to be one of the best players in world football.
