Chelsea close in on possible transfer deal as Frenchman’s exit inevitable this summer

Eduardo Camavinga’s departure from Rennes seems “inevitable’ Chelsea have been told

Now, we have spoken a number of times about the reports that Thomas Tuchel is keen to delve into that transfer kitty and add a few players to the squad in order to get them back into winning that Premier League title

Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football right now, Camavinga is already a full French International and is tipped to go on and become one of the best midfielders in world football.

The latest reports have claimed that Tuchel is keen to make a move for the young man, but that £100 million asking price may rule them out of a possible deal this summer, but they have been given a boost anyways

Le Parisien has now reported that the clubs target will leave the French side this summer.

The reports adds with contract extension talks at a standstill as he enters his final season of his current deal, the French side are considering letting him leave for the right amount of money

Despite his likely exit, he has returned to train with Rennes this week and the club has not yet received an official bid for him.

Jonathan Barnett has hinted that the midfielder could be among his clients set for a major move, HE told The Athletic: “It is going to be harder. I’m expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records.

“Hopefully, they’ll come about. For the smaller clubs, I think there won’t be as many transfers. We have some very good players.

“We have probably the best young player in the world in Camavinga. We’ve got [Jack] Grealish. We’ve got [Ibrahima] Konate at Leipzig. But then I’ve got over 100 players”
