Chelsea, Willian

Osimhen can sign for £70 million, Gabriel ready for big move and Willian in contract talks in icchelseanews.com roundup..

The agent of Arsenal target and Chelsea star Willian has admitted that the Brazilian wants to finish his career at the highest level.

There has been alot of speculation that Willian could be leaving at the end of the season as reports in the media have suggested that we may not be willing to offer him a new contract because of his age, and are willing to let him leave the club on a free transfer, with the likes of Juventus and Barcelona eyeing up a possible deal

It is believed that he wants a bigger contract that what we want to offer him, and that has even alerted a number of Premier League clubs to a possible free deal too.

Now, amid all the transfer speculation, his agent Kia Joorabchian also revealed Willian remains in contract talks with the club, despite rumours over a possible exit, and that the club are keen to sign him for two years but the player wants three years.

“Before the pandemic occurred, the negotiations were around two and three years,” he told Sky Sports

“Chelsea have a policy which we respect and understand but Willian has a career and he has ambition.

“He wants to finish his playing career at a very high level.”

Lille owner Gerard Lopez has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea that defender Gabriel is now ready for a bigger move.

There is some speculation in the media that Lampard will be handed the kind of funds he needs to improve the side in the summer, and bring in a couple new defenders, a midfielder and maybe a new striker, with Gabriel reportedly on the shopping list.

The Lille defender’s performances in Ligue 1 have attracted plenty of interest from other high bidders in Europe over the past few seasons, and considering the Blues still need to improve the summer transfer window, he has has been added to that list.

Lille are fending off interest in their Brazilian centre-half Gabriel, but Lopez revealed last month that the 22-year-old is ready for a move to a bigger club.

He told the Daily Mail: ‘It’s true that he would like to go and try something else out. We haven’t taken that decision yet, but he’s received a number of offers.

‘I feel he’s closer to one club than others, but nothing’s done yet so we’ll see.

‘I feel he is among the top five dominant central defenders in Europe right now. His statistics, which aren’t well covered outside of France, shows that his percentage for winning duels is pretty unheard of in a league that’s extremely physical.’

Lille owner Gerard Lopez has revealed that Chelsea target Victor Osimhen will cost £70million this summer.

There has been so much speculation around transfers in the summer window that fans are starting to get fed up of all the rumours, but since there is not any football going on, there isnt much news around.

Michy Batshuayi is now the latest name to be linked with a transfer move away from the club after Olivier Giroud recently agreed to stay at Stamford Bridge for at least another 12 months.

And one name that has now been added to that shopping list is that of Osimhen, who has impressed over in the French League this season with his goals and performances.

Osimhen has netted 18 goals in Ligue 1 this season after joining from Belgian side Sporting Charleroi last summer for around £10m, but we have been warned that they will not be able to sign the striker on the cheap.

Lopez told Daily Mail: ‘There are multiple offers. We turned down one English and one Spanish offer this January transfer window.

‘There is a wide array [this summer] and I wouldn’t want to give the names of the clubs who are bidding but what I can tell you is that there are multiple [offers]. There are three championships that have clubs that have bid for him.

‘I am not being a sales guy because last year people didn’t believe that we had the offers we had with [Nicolas] Pepe and it turns out we had multiple of them.

‘Let me tell you with Osimhen, it is the same thing, whatever number you heard, the high number I have read is very much on the money of the offers that we have received. That’s where we are.’

Osimhen is a very good striker that is ready for a big move, but is he ready for us?
