Chelsea can sign striker for £100M – Blues make move to sign defender – Chelsea target told to move
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icChelseanews that we think you guys may have missed –
Brentford have slapped a £100million price tag on Ivan Toney this month, amid reports CHELSEA are keen.
The club have spent more money than most in the Premier League over the past few transfer windows – but they are well off the pace to win that Premier League title by the end of the season.
Despite all the money that has been spent – all the quality that has been acquired and a world class manager in charge – we are down in 10th position in the Premier League and look like a side that is lacking top-class players in certain areas.
That has led to constant speculation in the media that the board will look to make a move for the returning Ivan Toney – who is able to play once again from 17th January after being suspended from football.
Brentford are desperate to keep hold of him after losing seven of their last eight matches, with manager Thomas Frank publicly declaring his desire to not sell, but according to reports, it will take £100m for the Bees to part ways with their star man.

Look, we do need to add a striker to that attack – they are lacking goals – but Toney is a man that has the full backing of Brentford, they have fully supported him over the past few months and he will surely wait until the summer window before he decides to leave.
CHELSEA OPEN TODIBO TALKS –
CHELSEA have reportedly held talks to sign defender Jean-Clair Todibo, reports suggest.
The transfer window is now fully open and this will give Mauricio Pochettino the chance to get the backing of the board once again and add some fresh players to the squad.
It is no secret that Thiago Silva is looking to leave the club at the end of the season and head back to his homeland of Brazil – meaning the Blues have been looking for an immediate replacement for the Brazilian.
And that has led scouts to keep an eye on the performances of Tobibo – who has been attracting alot of Premier League interest over the past few seasons.
Tottenham have already held talks with Nice over the France defender, who has shone in Ligue 1 since leaving Barcelona in 2021, but it was reported that deal was on the brink of collapse as Spurs now turn their focus to Genoa’s Radu Dragusin.
Manchester United and Liverpool are among the other clubs linked with Todibo, while football.london now report that we have now held talks over a possible deal for the defender.
It is believed a fee of £40-50 million should be enough to get a deal done for the powerhouse.

Tobibo is a real unit, a real powerhouse that has the potential to be a world class signing for the club – he really would be a great addition to that squad.
MBAPPE TOLD TO MOVE –
Long-term CHELSEA target Kylian Mbappe has been branded a “lost little boy” and has been urged to leave Paris Saint-Germain by ex-France international Christophe Dugarry.
Mbappe is a man that has been in the transfer headlines alot ever since the news broke last summer that he wanted out of PSG, that he was not going to agree a new contract and that he wanted to leave.
The exit from the French giants did not happen for the World Cup winner – but he has still not agreed a new contract with the club and there is alot of speculation about where he will end up as a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Real Madrid are leading the chase to sign Mbappe and are expected to get a pre-contract agreement reached this month, but the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are also keeping a very close eye on his situation.
Mbappe’s 18 league goals across 11 games this season shows just what he is one of the best, but World Cup winner Dugarry has again encouraged his fellow Frenchman to leave PSG.
Hetold RMC Sport: “I think Mbappe is stagnating today. I hope he leaves, from the bottom of my heart. I think he’s becoming more and more predictable, he lacks strength and character, he disappears from games too often.
‘He’s wanted all the power, you get the feeling he’s a little boy, you get the impression the suit’s too big. I feel he’s a bit lost, there’s no sense of symbiosis. Things haven’t been going well at PSG for a few months now.”
