Agent addresses rumours striker could sign with Chelsea This summer

Lautaro Martinez’s agent, Alejandro Camano, has insisted there is “no reason” for the Argentine striker to leave Inter – with Chelsea keen on a deal

After deciding that Romelu Lukaku is not the player that will guide the club back into the habit of winning Premier League and Champions League titles – Thomas Tuchel is looking for another striker for that attack

It is believed that Lukaku has already agreed a move back to Inter Milan on a loan deal – and Martinez is a man that the club are reportedly very much interested in signing over the next few months

The 25-year-old enjoyed a fruitful campaign in Serie A last season, scoring 21 goals in 35 appearances and is a player that Thomas Tuchel would reportedly like to bring to Stamford Bridge over the next few months

A report from The Athletic recently claimed we were considering making a move for Martinez – but it seems that the striker has no plans to leave the Italian giants this transfer window

Camano said to, via Football-Italia: “At this moment, he has no reason to think there is even the slightest possibility he could leave Inter.

“Nobody has told us anything, the truth is that a player who scores this many goals in Serie A cannot be ignored, but he has four years left on his contract. He is happy.”

There are other options out there for the German boss – so he will have a number of players on that shopping list he could turn too if Martinez does actually stay put

However – it is all about money in football – so if the club offer the Italians the right amount of money – they will get to talk to Martinez – and if they offer him the right kind of wage/right kind of signing on fee – his mind about staying will change
