Chelsea told they can complete powerhouse deal for £90 million
Chelsea need to go to £90m to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, it has been claimed
The January transfer window has been open for a while now and the club have been one of the most active clubs, with the likes of Andrey Santos, Joao Felix, Mudryk and David Fofana just some names that have made the move to London.
However – that has not stopped the speculation and the rumours that we are very much interested in a deal for the impressive Caicedo – and have even reportedly made their moves to get a deal done.
Brighton were deeply unimpressed with the Ecuadorian international’s social media post where he declared he wanted to leave, but the belief within the club is that he has been poorly advised by new representatives.
Part of that is their experience in such situations, notably with players like Marc Cucurella, Dale Stephens and Lewis Dunk, as well as the lack of a need to sell.
However – The club have been told that if they want to complete the signing of Caicedo – they will have to pay close to £90 million to sign the midfielder.
Look – Caicedo is a brilliant midfielder that is ready for that next step in the game – but at the end of the day – he is not worth the money that is being talked about – it is crazy.
