Chelsea target Gleison Bremer has revealed he is desperate to leave Torino and was promised he would get the opportunity to move to a bigger club.

There has been alot of talk over the past few weeks about who Thomas Tuchel will look to bring to the club after stars Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left the club after failing to agree new contracts

And according to a few reports in the media – Torino’s Bremer is one of the defenders that we could look at signing over the course of the summer window as they look to replace the top-class duo

Bremer has been impressive over the past few seasons and is starting to look like a defender that is almost ready to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world – which has led to alot of speculation.

Now – amid all the speculation that the club are very much interested in a possible deal for the Brazilian – he has come out and told clubs that he is desperate to leave Torino for a bigger club

Speaking to ESPN via Sempre Inter, he said: “I told the coach and the management [last summer]: ‘I want to change now’. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year, you can take the next step’.

“The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team. I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time.”

Rudiger is a leader on and off the pitch – he really is a big part of this side – so replacing him with another world class defender is a must by the club

Bremer is a very good and has potential – but he is not at the same level as Rudiger – but would add depth back to Chelsea
