Kai Havertz is unlikely to train with Bayer Leverkusen again, says head coach Peter Bosz, as he closes on a £90m move to Chelsea.

There has been some much speculation in the media about the future of Havertz, who is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in the game, but it seems that we will win the race for his signature this summer.

He has spent his entire career at Leverkusen, contributing an impressive 36 goals and 25 assists in just 118 Bundesliga appearances since making his debut in October 2016, but we have been in talks with the German outfit for months now.

Reports have claimed that a five-year deal has been agreed with the player and the clubs finally agreed a £90 million fee for the player that is tipped to eventually become one of the very best players in the game.

And fans are getting even more excited about his possible arrival, as Bosz has admitted that the young man is very unlikely to train with the side again, he was quoted on BILD: “Unfortunately our squad isn’t set yet. I don’t expect (Kevin) Volland and Havertz to train with us again.

“It’s possible more players will transfer. We definitely still have to add some players.”

Look we cannot wait to see Havertz arrive at the club as he has the potential to be another superstar for us in the next couple of seasons, so the sooner this is done, the better.
