Chelsea star Christian Pulisic says he is ‘excited’ for the future after meeting new Stamford Bridge owner Todd Boehly – amid speculation he could leave the club

Since completing a £58m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, Pulisic has scored 25 goals in 115 appearances for the club, has won the Champions League and both the club World Cup and Super Cup.

However – he has never really fulfilled that potential that he once showed at Borussia Dortmund and only started 13 of the 38 Premier League games for Chelsea last season – which has led to alot of speculation about his future

However – he has admitted that he is excited after meeting the new owners at Stamford Bridge – Pulisic – who is currently on international duty – said: ‘As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here. And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it.

‘Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

‘I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.’

‘At the end of the season, we were able to meet with them and they were around the club a lot,’ Pulisic added. ‘They are really good people so I’m excited moving forward.’

The problem with Pulisic is – he cannot stay fit – he cannot score the goals the club needs and at times – you almost forget that he is on the pitch – but id he stays fit and healthy – he really is a class player

We hope he stays
