Bayern Munich star has transfer message for Lampard ahead of possible Chelsea move
Jerome Boateng has responded to speculation that he could be heading to Chelsea this summer window.
With Lampard seeking to improve a number of key areas of the pitch this summer transfer window, there has been alot of speculation in the media that he wants to spend some serious money to acquire the services of Boateng.
Boateng has pretty much won every trophy going during his time at Bayern, but there is a feeling that the German club will allow him to leave over the next few months and use the money from his sale to sign their own transfer targets.
We have been linked with a shock move because it is no secret that we want to add a bit more experience to that back-line, but now compromise the quality that we already have at the club
However, Boateng has come out and responded to the reports linking him with a move to us in the summer, and pretty much told the Premier League outfit that he is currently happy at the club.
‘Before Hansi Flick, I was already thinking about my future,’ Boateng told Welt am Sonntag.
‘At the moment I feel good and can imagine that I will stay. My focus is totally on Bayern and the current season.
‘I need the trust of the coach and his coaching team. I have it again. ‘Even before the time with Hansi Flick, I trained well and hard, but I was not allowed to play and never had the chance to get into my rhythm. It is difficult for every player.’
‘Hansi Flick told me right from the start that he was planning with me and appreciated my qualities. Now I’m really enjoying football again.’
Is it a massive loss that we will be missing out on the German?
