Fans have been told that Chelsea will not look to make sure that Mason Mount is signed up to a new contract.

Mount is one of the most gifted young players in that squad and has been a player that every boss can rely on to put in a decent performance for the Blues.

However – this season he has not quite looked himself and has been struggling to find the form that made him such a special player over the past few years – and he has been heavily criticised for that.

His contract at Stamford Bridge is also an issue as there is alot of talk that he cannot agree a new contract and could leave the club – with Liverpool a club that is reportedly interested in a potential deal.

However – despite his poor form and all the speculation regarding his future – Journalist Dean Jones has opened up and claimed that the club will not look to make sure that a new deal is agreed.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I think that Chelsea probably realised that.

“There will still be very strong considerations and almost an expectation that he does end up getting a new contract.”

Football pundit Alan Hutton recently claimed that Mason Mount leaving Chelsea is very unlikely

So we cannot wait to see him sign a new deal at the club
